CNA (French National Center on Agroecology) aims to gather forces in France around agroecology.
We are exploring to lead a proposal and we look for partners that can represent agroecology forces in their country with pragmatic experiences and ideally living labs
Our objective:
To promote the widespread adoption of agroecology by showcasing the successful agroecological practices of pioneer farms, leveraging social media for significant dissemination impact
Actions to implement:
- Document the triple performance (economic, social, environmental) of pioneer farms that employ robust agroecological approaches.
- Establish collaborative networks for on-farm experiments aimed at testing the implementation of agroecological practices, involving both experienced and novice practitioners, as well as experts and researchers.
- Evaluate the potential benefits of transitioning to agroecology across economic, technical, environmental, and social dimensions.
- Provide guidelines for conventional farmers to initiate the transition to agroecology, drawing on the local knowledge of pioneers.
- Ensure broad dissemination through platforms such as YouTube and social media.
- Utilize existing successful knowledge-sharing platforms to store and disseminate all pertinent information, including farm profiles, technical feedback, experimental results, and guidelines (knowledge hub).
We are eager to have a living lab for each involved country to facilitate co-creation processes.
We are enthusiastic about advancing the adoption of agroecological practices and creating sustainable agricultural systems. Contact us to engage in collaboration!
Centre National d’Agroécologie (CNA) is a French non-profit association dedicated to developing agroecology in France & Europe, created by companies and farmers organisations involved in agroecology. We believe that agroecology is a main issue for agricultural transition to provide soil fertility, biodiversity and better food quality.
