We would like to apply our systemic soil model BODIUM4Farmers (see https://www.bonares.de/bodium4farmers) in collaboration with farmers in order to assess the impact of sustainable soil management practices on soil functions (productivity, carbon storage, nutrient recycling, water storage and filtering, habitat for biologcal activity).
BODIUM4Farmers is based on the systemic soil model BODIUM. The open access model tool with an intuitive user interface is designed to support farms in balancing their long-term farm management with good yields and healthy soils.

The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ has more than 1.100 employees on its premises in Leipzig, Halle (Saale) and Magdeburg. We conduct research to support a sustainable use of our natural resources to benefit both mankind and its environment.
