İzmir Agro Gastronomy Center Project, which is planned within the 24-decare Buca Aliberti Mansion in the city center of Izmir, is the project of a self-sufficient center that will be the meeting point of local agriculture practices and gastronomy, with the production and supply of natural products and the thematic experiences it will offer to its visitors.

The aim of the project is to disseminate sustainable agricultural practices in İzmir by addressing the concepts of agri-tourism, living labs, agro-gastro, local production, farming education and to ensure that agricultural practices are intertwined with the public. Agro-Gastro; through applied experience, will help to understand the continuity of global agricultural processes in a deeper and resilient and sustainable manner in accordance with the changing climatic conditions and critical infrastructure. While the project is assumed to set an example for ensuring and encouraging the continuity of endemic plants in the Mediterranean Region. Using NBS (Natural Based Solutions) within the whole site and also by growing its own food at the same field, the restaurant will promote circular city and so circular economy which will reduce emissions, enhance biodiversity in accordance with Sustainable Development Purposes.
