The scientific research is mainly interdisciplinary and has both a fundamental character and implications regarding applicability, innovation and technological transfer, in accordance with the present and future requests of agriculture.
The research themes must be focused on short and long-term scientific research:
-natural resources management, conservation and protection of landscape;
-soil preservation;
-improving agricultural practices;
-crop rotation and local varieties using at the local level with higher ecological plasticity;
-biological pest and disease control;

Iasi University of Life Sciences (IULS) is a specialized institution of superior agronomic and veterinary medicine training, financed by the state and having as fundamental mission the training of agricultural, horticultural and animal sciences engineers, agricultural economists, engineers in food industry, biologists, as well as veterinary doctors.
Our university is a serious academic partner, recognized by many European universities and institutions in the field of activity. We have 220 people as part of our teaching staff and research teams, who are teaching over 4700 students.
