biofertilizers, biopesticides, living labs, precision agriculture, soil and water resources,
- at the farm level and its immediate surroundings
Our project proposes the creation of a LivingLab in which several environmentally friendly methods are used and promoted in the practice of agriculture and horticulture, from the use of biofertilizers and biopesticides, water purification through magnetic and ionization methods, ecological phytosanitary methods using ultraviolet rays and impulses /sound vibrations, capturing atmospheric water and treating crops with digitized systems, until the construction of a prototype of a vertical greenhouse, in which all these methods will be able to be applied, in geoponic and/or aquaponic crops, all year round, without depending on climatic conditions, for obtaining healthy food intended for final consumers.
ARDS Braila has a rich experience in the field of applied research and through the results obtained, it has made an important contribution to the development of agriculture and horticulture in the area of influence, as well as to solving some problems at the national level, through: design and operation of irrigation systems, the improvement and valorization of saline soils, agrophytotechnics of field and fodder crops, creating rice varieties, conservative selection of varieties and hybrids, the
production of seeds from the upper links, the digitization of agriculture and horticulture, biotechnology for obtaining biofertilizers from agricultural waste and medicinal plants, establishment of agroforestry curtains with fruit tree species and energetic species, etc.
