We are looking for a consortium and we could participate as partners. Offered contribution:
Research & Innovation activities in the food industry:
• for example testing new fertilizers or new technology in cropping (by drones),
• applications from industry 4.0, digitalization in food production NOT COMPROMISING THE ECO / BIO component that is the reason for our existence as an NGO,
• demonstrating the great effect on the wellbeing of humans (physical and mental health) of consuming healthy food and so on.
Elaboration of strategies to develop rural tourism in a sustainable way
Analysis of the impact of climate change on the rural communities
Support the local farmers to adopt sustainable agriculture, including consultancy activities.
As an organization we do not have much international or project implementing experience – hence our expression of interest in being a partner – as a first step – in projects that we think are suitable with our vision, mission and core values.
Despite the BioNEstCluster’s little experience in international projects, our members, though, have consistent experience in various projects, in the agri-food sector, covering the production of several food products, and agritourism (visits to local farms with local producers).
Also, we have diverse production units, therefore we can perform research and innovation tasks in food production.

BioNEstCluster is a Romanian organization that brings together 25 companies specialized in producing healthy food (cold pressed oils, honey bee products, organic jams), cosmetics and essential oils, in agro-rural tourism and natural recreation activities, companies specialized in robotics, two universities and one high school.
• In short, the BioNEst cluster is an NGO that gathers several regional producers in the agriculture and food sector, universities, local organizations, R&D organizations, a nature park and SMEs.
• Its main objective is the promotion of ecological agri-food products manufactured in the northeastern region of Romania. This organization aims to:
• establish new commercial and technological cooperation with other national and international actors in the agriculture and food sector, to bring innovation and create new products and open new market opportunities.
• expose the sustainability of rural and nature-friendly tourism through the production of healthy foods. - - promote the system of sustainability and healthy education
• be active in experiential tourism projects, also
The NGO was set up in 2019 June 2019 . Local small-scale projects have been implemented with our own resources, at the beginning, on different and diverse themes that we are interested in – mainly healthy, BIO food.
The members, staff and collaborators have extended experience :
• local, regional, national and international programmes and projects.
• In present, the BioNEstCluster does not implement any international project as the main Beneficiary.
• In short, the BioNEst cluster is an NGO that gathers several regional producers in the agriculture and food sector, universities, local organizations, R&D organizations, a nature park and SMEs.
