- at the farm level and its immediate surroundings
We would like to contribute with our expertise in cultivation on organic soils. We have a cultivated peatland site in northern Norway with treatments of different water levels (ranging from typically drained level to partially rewetted level) and fertilization dosages. Automatic chamber measurements for GHG (CO2, CH4, N2O) fluxes have been performed at plot scale since 2022. The site offers unique opportunity to investigate the effect of different water levels on grass production and GHG emissions on peatlands. Collaborations to use the site for experiment, modeling, upscaling and data synthesis are welcome.
