We are interested to enhance the agroecology practices among the Romanian farmers by involving them in participatory research. We are interested to cooperate from bottom-up on an participatory manner for solving economical, environmental, sociological and cultural problems of transforming agricultural systems in an more diverse and sustainable manner by transforming actual production system.

Center for Study and Research for Agroforestry Biodiversity is a public research organization. It has an unique structure of multidisciplinary research on agriculture (large field crops, animal growing), forestry and protected areas biodiversity. It is active on research projects and themes regarding: agroforestry, organic agriculture, plant breeding, sustainable agriculture, increasing agroecosystems resilience, bioeconomy, circular economy.
In the last years, we have developed a network of farmers where we are testing field crops cultivars, agroecological practices and organic agriculture inputs.
Moreover, as part of Romanian Academy research organization it is connected with research structures on economical, social and cultural research that could emphasize the development of living labs in agroecology.
