TCI has a lot of experience in developing new biostimulants and specialty plant nutrition products with high positioning through joint collaboration with several Universities and Research Centres; and experience of over 150 agronomical trials in the last 3 years in different geographical regions. Particularly, our contribution to project proposals in this call is to implement the utilisation of microbial-based solutions (fungi, bacteria and/or derivatives) as part of the Farm to Fork strategy – one of the central pillars of the European Green Deal – seeking for a reduction in nutrient losses of at least 50% by 2030, while ensuring no deterioration in soil fertility. To do so, it is key to introduce the complementation of microbial-based biostimulants with the reduction in conventional fertilizer use.

Tradecorp International (TCI) is a Spanish company now part of Rovensa Next, the biosolutions business unit of Rovensa Group, dedicated to the production and distribution of innovative biosolutions to shape a sustainable future for agriculture and drive its biotransformation. TCI has extensive knowledge and expertise in crop nutrition and biostimulation. Through soil and foliar application, Tradecorp has the know-how and resources to better understand how their products work in different cropping systems and agricultural systems. The role of Tradecorp in R&D projects as industrial partner is to:
- develop new formulas through new raw materials and new functional ingredients,
- monitor the stability and industrial scale-up of the new prototypes,
- write agronomical protocols to test the new products, validate the new solutions in agronomical trials,
- follow their commercialization,
- offer their expertise on the biostimulation and crop nutrition fields.
