LIMNOS company specialises on delivering nature-based solutions for protection and restoration of the environment since 1994.
Main focus is water protection and pollution mitigation (wetland technology), ecosystem-based approaches for resilient waste infrastructures, and solutions for agriculture, such as:
• establishment of landscape/slope retention measures to prevent erosion and support biodiversity
• design and implementation of a livestock wood chip heavy-use areas and treatment of discharge in a closed treatment lagoon (biomass production, nutrient recovery, biodiversity support)
• natural rainwater reservoirs (irrigation use, biodiversity support)
• constructed ecosystems in drainage ditches for run-off treatment
