Determine and assess benefits/impacts and trade-offs of agroecology, and identify best practices
We are very interested in joining consortia that a looking for partners that can contribute to the Living Lab approach implementation.
We can provide a wide variety of real-life environments for agricultural production in Southern Spain.
We have over 10 years of experience in collaborating on RDI projects and developing experimental and demonstration projects in the agricultural production sector.
OUR INTERESTS:
To research, develop and implement STRATEGIES, TECHNIQUES and/or TECHNOLOGIES that promote an agricultural production that is:
- SUSTAINABLE AND WITH HIGH-QUALITY PRODUCTS
- ADAPTED TO CLIMATE CHANGE SCENARIOS
- AND MINIMIZES NEGATIVE IMPACTS TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
Areas of action:
- Restoration of Biodiversity in agriculture and agricultural soils
- Research and validate new plant nutrition, protection, and stimulation methods.
- To deepen into the KNOWLEDGE of SOIL HEALTH and its microbiota and important agro-ecosystem functions:
o nutrient uptake and nutrient loss (leaching),
o carbon sequestration,
o resistance to pathogens
o water retention, etc.
TEPRO Consultores Agrícolas is an Andalusian SME with almost 50 years of experience in the agricultural sector, with its headquarters in Seville. We have offices in Cordoba, Jerez de la Frontera and Badajoz, within our borders, and we are also present in Portugal, Bulgaria, Morocco and Senegal.
We offer a comprehensive farm management service, which is our main activity. We manage around 80,000 hectares of agricultural land in total, covering a wide variety of crops and production systems. Throughout our long history, we have expanded our technical services:
- Technical Consultancy Services, both nationally and internationally, through the Consultancy department.
- We also have an Engineering Department, which covers the design and management of works for hydraulic, irrigation and agro-industrial infrastructure projects.
- And, since 2006, we launched the RDI Projects Department, in which we address all the challenges that arise in the sector, from sustainability, efficiency in the use of resources, the incorporation of new technologies, bio-products and circular economy, among others. We are interested in participating in projects that seek solutions to all these challenges and more.
