Transform value chains, businesses and policies to facilitate the transition to agroecology
Issue addressed

This loss ultimately affects food production and the livelihoods of large populations. Additionally, the changing conditions resulting from climate change necessitate a re-evaluation of current agricultural practices.

Project aim
The project represents a significant step towards the implementation of more sustainable agricultural practices among the participating regions. The project focuses on heterogeneous landscapes featuring grazelands and crop production as well. By facilitating the transfer of good practices across regions, it is possible to initiate the transformation and development of local agricultural policies, which will support a more holistic approach to agriculture. The involvement of stakeholders and citizens is essential at the local level to overcome the emerging issues.
Objectives
Promoting the use of regenerative and co-operative agricultural practices in REAGRY areas such as mixed farming, intermittent grazing,
Rationalize subsidies to ensure that those with sustainable practices are not excluded
Promote cooperation between different stakeholders e.g. crop producers, animal keepers, politicians, nature conservationists
Increase investments to support sustainable agricultural practices
