Transform value chains, businesses and policies to facilitate the transition to agroecology
I am open to participate in a project focused on transforming value chains and business models to foster a transition towards agro-ecology. My research interests include local development, entrepreneurial ecosystems, business model innovation, and agri-food transformations. I have published in journals like Local Economy and the Journal of Rural Studies and have participated in several successful EU H2020 projects (RurAction; HUB-IN). If needed, I can contribute practice partners as well through my local network.
I am a lecturer and researcher within the Department of Food, Business and Development in Cork University Business School, part of University College Cork (Ireland). Within my department there is strong expertise on, among others, value chain analysis, business model innovation, circular economy, food business and agri-economics. This expertise can be brought into the project.
