Determine and assess benefits/impacts and trade-offs of agroecology, and identify best practices
CANBEL can set up a Living Lab in Turkey and contribute to the co-design of innovative multi-cropping agroecosystems and evaluate the agroecology transitions, assessing their impacts and performance in real life farms, managed by real farmers. We can, thus facilitate exchange between scientists and policymakers and to contribute to the implementation of evidence-based policies supporting the transition to agroecology by providing real life evidence. We can also contribute to accelerate the creation and uptake of agroecological practices and innovations by adopting multi-actors and co-design methods (living
labs approach) by establishing and coordinating a field school including study visits and replication training that aims to enhance stakeholders' skills in sustainable agroecosystem practices and sustainable agriculture management.
