For this project, the research team aims to evaluate some of their design materials and conventional phase change materials. In these studies, the research group aims to produce the targeted system in a machine configuration that can be regenerated when necessary by collaborating with academicians from the engineering and agricultural faculties. The researchers are considering performing performance and optimization studies in the laboratory and application field. In this study, the research team needs partners to evaluate theoretical calculations, modeling and simulations, and measurement results in different dimensions.
The emerging system aims to produce energy from light, store it while eliminating excess heat in the summer months, and radiate it back into the environment in the winter to regulate the temperature that drops at night. The system also aims to transfer excess heat outside at night in the summer and intensify the stored heat with a hybrid application in the winter. As a result, this project will make greenhouses cheaper, more productive, and more environmentally friendly.
Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University is a public university in Turkiye, first built as an agriculture faculty. It is in one of the country's most productive areas, in Tokat city. There are 2 main campuses; the medicinal faculty is in the city center, and the other faculties campus is in a nearby village. The second campus includes science and arts, engineering, and agricultural faculty. Additionally, the campus has educational, administrative, religious, law, and health science faculty units. The university's graduate studies institution serves master's, PhD, and postgraduate study programs for all faculties. The university serves research funds through the Scientific Research Projects Funding Office with national regulations. There are plenty of research groups in different disciplines in the university.
