Tasks would be carried out in the southwest of Europe:
- A sensorless irrigation system that uses advanced satellite data analysis combined with crop-specific agronomic knowledge to generate accurate irrigation recommendations. This system would be complemented by field sensors, which not only validate these recommendations but also allow precise adjustments to optimize water use and improve agricultural productivity.
- Automated crop misbehaviour prediction alert using multispectral satellite monitoring. Monitoring the behaviour of ecological crops through periodic satellite imagery analysis offers several significant advantages for farmers and the environment. This advanced technology provides a detailed, real-time view of crop conditions, enabling more efficient and sustainable agricultural management practices. Farmers can monitor large land areas simultaneously, allowing them to identify patterns and trends in crop growth in remote or inaccessible areas.
- Algorithms to predict plagues will be studied using on-site sensors and artificial intelligence over crops under agroecological. The use of photographic traps combined with species recognition algorithms enables real-time monitoring of insect populations, providing farmers with timely information on pest activity and population dynamics. This proactive approach allows for early detection of pest outbreaks, facilitating prompt decision-making and targeted pest management interventions.
- Analysis of the variability of edaphic parameters of soils in agroecological farms using the on-the-go geolocated sensors of apparent Electrical Conductivity (aEC), which is related to soil physical, chemical and biological properties to create different management zones in an agroecological environment.
