Determine and assess benefits/impacts and trade-offs of agroecology, and identify best practices
We propose innovative projects aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability by integrating advanced technologies such as IoT, spectroscopy, remote sensing, and microcontroller-based systems. Our goal is to support agroecological practices through real-time data analysis, decision support systems, and the development of smart technologies for food safety and environmental monitoring. Specific project highlights include:
-Developing IoT-based sensor systems for real-time monitoring of soil moisture, temperature, and crop health to optimize water and fertilizer use.
-Applying spectroscopy and artificial intelligence to assess the quality and safety of milk and dairy products, providing early detection of spoilage.
-Utilizing satellite and drone imagery to monitor agricultural biodiversity and support ecological balance.
-Creating microcontroller-based sensor solutions to track and ensure food safety across the supply chain.
