We are interested in participating in a partnership where we are working on cooperation projects with producers or experts from the dairy sector on aspects related to: a) the development of new products; b) the improvement of financial, social and productive sustainability as well as the reduction of the impact on the environment; c) the quality and safety of dairy products linked to physico-chemical and microbiological changes of milk due to climatic or productive factors.
The Dairy Center- Leartiker has more than 15 years of experience in the dairy sector, with participation in multidisciplinary research projects focused on solving the sector's problems. Its aim is to provide milk and dairy product producers with the necessary services for their day-to-day work, such as the development of new dairy products and cheeses, advanced technical advice and specialised training.
To this end, it has a wide network of contacts both in the dairy sector and in the research sector, so that it has a high capacity to carry out projects whose results are necessary and directly demanded by the sector. In particular, the Cenotr Lácteo- Leartiker has a fully equipped pilot plant, a room for sensory tests and laboratories for molecular biology, instrumentation, physico-chemistry and microbiology to carry out its research.
