Strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment in the transition towards agroecology
On behalf of the research team leaders, Prof. Adela Bara and Prof. Simona Oprea (h-index 20), I represent a research team from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE), within the Department of Economic Informatics and Cybernetics. We are currently seeking to join a consortium preparing a proposal under the AgroEcology call.
Our team has strong expertise in Generative AI, Large Language Models, RAG-based applications, data management, big data, blockchain, data science, data technologies, machine learning (including RNN-based models), forecasting, anomaly detection, and optimization.
Our competence and track record are demonstrated through several research projects coordinated in recent years, funded by competitive programs such as CETP 2022, DUT 2022, ERA-MIN3 2022, ERA-NET (H2020) SMART-MLA, and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
If you are planning to set up a consortium for the AgroEcology call and believe our expertise would be a good match, please let us know. We would be pleased to discuss potential roles and contributions and to share relevant project references upon request
