Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition
Find partners interested in developing a project based on the following topics:
• Conservation and use of genetic and phenotypic diversity to increase resilience, adaptability and performance in different environmental contexts, taking into account climate change, and supporting the agroecological transition (crops, livestock and integrated systems).
• Developing approaches to improve resilience to multiple stressors.
• Reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the integrated animal-plant system.
• Enhance the long-term crop rotation system (legumes-cereals), using conservation agriculture techniques, focusing on soil and reducing input.
