Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition
We are interested to work on unique genetic diversity of cereals and related species adapted to dry climates. For this, we have established innovative population for genetic dissection of breeding relvent traits, underlying mechanism of stress adaptation as well as to introgress novel adaptive alleles in establishing new varieties for abiotic and biotic stress tolerances.
We are the department of Plant Breeding at the University of Applied Sciences Osnabrück, Germany. We have established lab facility for genetic and molecular analysis as well as carryout experiments under field conditions.
