Strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment in the transition towards agroecology
We seek to join a transnational consortium as a Living Lab host or Work Package partner. Our interest lies in farmer-led experimentation and participatory design linking genetic diversity, soil regeneration and mycorrhizal soil–plant interactions in perennial and diversified cropping systems. We are particularly interested in exploring how soil microbiology and plant genetic diversity jointly enhance resilience under real farming conditions.
Torre San Teobaldo is an independent think, research and real-world laboratory working at the intersection of agroecology, bioeconomy and sustainable food systems. The organisation combines field-based experimentation on soil regeneration, mycorrhizal networks and perennial systems with governance-oriented system analysis and participatory research. Activities include Living Lab development, farmer engagement, biodiversity enhancement and regional value chain design, focusing on resilient agroecological transformation.
