Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition
I am a researcher working in the field of sustainable agriculture, with a strong focus on flax (linseed) and other alternative crops. My work is oriented towards the use of plant biomass for the development of high value-added, bio-based and biodegradable materials and sustainable solutions.
I have practical experience in crop production and raw material sourcing, including the cultivation, preparation and supply of plant biomass for research and innovation projects.
I am interested in collaboration on the development of bio-based materials and sustainable packaging solutions, including biodegradable films. I am open to cooperation with research organisations and industry partners in international projects.
The Lithuanian Research Centre for Agriculture and Forestry (LAMMC) is a leading research institution in Lithuania focused on sustainable agriculture and plant-based innovation. The centre conducts research in crop science, soil management, biodiversity, as well as the development of value-added products from plant resources.
LAMMC combines fundamental and applied research to support sustainable farming systems and the development of innovative, environmentally friendly solutions based on plant biomass, with a particular focus on plant quality and biomass.
