Strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment in the transition towards agroecology
Pueblo Ingenio is an agroecological consultancy with over 20 years of experience supporting rural entrepreneurs and cooperatives. We specialize in transforming artisanal food projects into legal, safe, and sustainable enterprises through eco-engineering, feasibility studies, and regulatory advisory.
We are seeking to join a consortium to offer our Bioregional Development Framework. This model uses river basins as tactical units to synchronize human activity with natural cycles, activating just and regenerative territorial transitions:
- Infrastructure Innovation: We have several experience to developed the Shared Food Workroom and Kitchen model—a critical social infrastructure that acts as a node for rural innovation, food sovereignty, and community resilience.
- Democratic Territorial Intelligence: We provide a suite of tools for sovereign, governance, landscape health and economic flows, preventing "value leaks" and retaining wealth within the bioregion.
- Technical & Social Facilitation: Expertise in group facilitation and design of bioregional value chains that connect production, transformation, and consumption.
We seek to partner with Universities, Research Institutes, NGOs, and Living Labs leading Call 3 projects and interested in testing socio-economic models for agroecology. We are particularly interested in partners focused on bioregional approach, short value chains, climate democracy governance and food sovereignty in rural contexts.
