Strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment in the transition towards agroecology
AgriNova Consulting PLC is seeking partnerships with international donors, NGOs, research institutions, and private sector actors to co‑develop and implement agroecology transition projects, with a strong focus on horticulture. Our mission is to empower smallholder farmers, MSMEs, cooperatives, unions, and commercial farms to actively participate in sustainable value chains by equipping them with the skills, systems, and confidence needed for agroecological transformation.
We are particularly interested in collaborations that:
• Build farmer and enterprise capacities through structured training, coaching, and extension support tailored to agroecological practices.
• Provide technical assistance in record‑keeping, traceability, policy and procedure development, and the design of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Support risk assessments and compliance tools (check sheets, monitoring systems) to strengthen farm management and decision‑making.
• Enable certification readiness for diverse national and international market standards (GLOBALG.A.P., Organic, Fairtrade, ESG, food safety).
• Facilitate multi‑stakeholder engagement that ensures farmer voices from smallholders to unions are integrated into policy dialogue, market linkages, and sectoral governance.
AgriNova brings extensive experience in horticultural farm certification, compliance, and sustainability advisory, combined with a proven track record in donor‑funded projects. By partnering with us, funders, private sector actors and research institutions can mobilize practical tools and farmer‑centered methodologies that accelerate the agroecological transition while ensuring inclusivity, resilience, and market competitiveness across all scales of farming.
