Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition
I am interested in collaborative works and partnerships with organizations focused on the genetic diversity of lima bean (Phaseolus lunatus) and cropping system intensification using lima bean in low-input farming systems across Africa. Universities, CGIAR centers, and other research institutions are particularly welcome, as they align with ongoing studies on lima bean genetic variation in regions like Ethiopia.
Jimma University College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (JUCAVM) is one of Ethiopia’s pioneering agricultural colleges, established with support from Oklahoma, USA. It actively collaborates with global partners on agricultural research, innovations, and sustainable intensification to advance education, technology, and practical solutions for the agricultural sector in Ethiopia and beyond.
