Enhancing the genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock for the agroecological transition
We are interested in collaborating project related to studying genetic gains in crop and livestock improvement in terms of yield and yield-related traits under a changing climate. We are also interested in exploring plant and livestock beneficial microorganisms, complementing the breeding efforts for enhancing genetic diversity and variability of crops and livestock to ensure adaptability and sustainability under smallholder farmers
Werabe University (WRU) is a public comprehensive university established by the Ethiopian government in 2015. It plays a vital role in advancing quality education, applied research, and community service in the Silte Zone and surrounding regions. The university currently serves over 10,500 students and employs more than 2,400 academic and administrative staff.
