My area of interest is to study various environmental factors and their effects on plant growth and development. Plant-environment interaction is very crucial to study if you want to understand the basis of genetic diversity and variability. Plants behave differently in different environments and environmental conditions and especially under climate change senario.

My research objective is to understand the genetic basis of plant-environment interaction and develop better plants which could survive in extreme environments.

GC University, Faisalabad is well established and well know high ranked University in Pakistan as well as globally. It ranks in top 10 Universities of Pakistan and 2nd in Punjab Province as per QS World Unievsities Ranking System.

The University has well equiped reseach laboratories to carry out research related to agriculture, plant sciences and biotechnology.
