Strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment in the transition towards agroecology
AgroInnovation (Ukraine) would like to join a consortium for the AGROECOLOGY 3rd Co-funded Call as an implementation / innovation deployment partner, with a strong focus on supporting farmers’ uptake of agroecological practices and delivering practical, field-based evidence.
Our key contribution to the call would be:
• On-farm pilots and demonstrations with wide network of farmers in Ukraine, including farmer engagement, advisory support and capacity building.
• Monitoring and impact tracking for agroecological practice adoption (soil health / SOC indicators, data collection workflows, and reporting).
• Carbon farming know-how: soil sampling , field mapping (KML and shape files) used in carbon programs.
We are particularly aligned with Topic 2 (strengthening farmers’ involvement and empowerment), and can support consortia with real-world validation at TRL 4–6 and dissemination to practitioner communities.
We are an Agricultural center of innovation (FOP Salyga V.G.)- independent consulting center founded in 2005, providing project management and advisory services for farmers, agri-processors and investors, with access to a network of experienced practitioners (farm managers, chief agronomists, engineers, technologists, etc.).
Our goal is to make your agricultural production and processing a highly efficient and profitable business that stays one step ahead of the competition. We help agricultural producers generate additional income by participating in international climate programs in compliance with global environmental standards through the mechanisms of carbon certificates.
We have wide farmers network (+100 000 ha), good cooperation with agricultural univercity, farmers associations and agricultural NGOs. Center is member of The Association of Sustainable Development Experts (ASDE)
